I’m Dr. Motahareh Oveisi, an experienced GP with over 15 years in medical practice. I completed my medical degree at the University of Azad in Tehran and hold both an MD and Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

My approach to care is warm, respectful, and collaborative. I take the time to listen, understand my patients’ needs, and involve them in their own health decisions. What I value most in practice is trust—building long-term relationships where patients feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to take charge of their health.

My special interests include men’s health, women’s health, children’s health, mental health, travel medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative health. What I enjoy most about being a GP is the variety of care I get to provide and the opportunity to support individuals and families across generations.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks, cooking, and listening to podcasts. I speak both English and Farsi.
